Customer

One place to understand the whole Job

  • Describe the Job once and know which version a quote applies to.
  • Compare current quotes without guessing whether scope changes made them stale.
  • Keep exact address/contact/access details private until the workflow allows sharing.
  • See the appointment, conversation, photos, activity and next action in the same Job.

Tradie

Your leads, quotes and work together

  • Find local Jobs that match your trade and service area.
  • Quote the current brief and get a clear signal when the customer changes it.
  • Keep customer details, appointments and progress with the same Job.
  • Use Needs action/New/Active/Completed views to keep work moving.

Working together

The Job from start to finish

  1. Step 01

    Customer posts the current brief

Choose the trade, describe the work and use an approximate Job location. Exact address, contact and access details stay out of the lead.

  2. Step 02

Tradie quotes what is actually current

Tradies send a quote for the work described. If the customer changes the scope, the tradie reviews the quote before it can be accepted.

  3. Step 03

Private details move with the relationship

After choosing a tradie, the customer can share the exact address, contact information and access instructions privately on the Job.

  4. Step 04

    Tradie proposes; customer confirms

The tradie proposes a time. The customer confirms or asks for another. The current appointment stays in place until a replacement is agreed.

  5. Step 05

Conversation and evidence stay on the Job

Keep messages, private photos, the appointment and progress updates together so both sides can follow the work.

  6. Step 06

Complete, review and keep the history

The tradie marks the work complete and the customer can review it. Completed and cancelled Jobs keep their history.

Common questions

Can customers post a real Job now?

Yes. Paste or type what needs doing, choose your area and leave private contact details. An account is optional. Eligible tradies can see matching Jobs and respond; a response is not guaranteed.

What happens if the customer changes the Job after a quote?

If the scope changes before a tradie is chosen, existing quotes need the tradie's review before you can accept them. Messages stay on the Job, and any saved private details also need a review.

When does the tradie see the exact address and contact details?

Your exact address and contact details stay out of the public brief. Contact sharing is optional and controlled by you. Exact site and access details are shared privately with the tradie you choose.

Can we agree an appointment in TradieArc?

Yes. After you choose a tradie, they propose a time and you confirm or request another. Changes and cancellations stay in the Job history.

Can we share photos?

Yes. After a tradie is chosen, authorised Job participants can share and view private site and progress photos. General documents and chat attachments are not available yet.

Are the provider profiles on the site live and verified?

Published business profiles and stable public profile URLs are available through the bounded TradieArc directory. Profile, ABN and licence values remain labelled as supplied unless a separate current statement says exactly what was checked. An ABN statement means only that the ABN was Active and a business name matched when checked against ABN Lookup on the shown date. A licence statement names the holder relationship, jurisdiction, class, official register, check date and expiry. Neither statement is a recommendation, quality or insurance guarantee.

Is TradieArc free to use?

Yes. TradieArc is free to use now for customers and tradies. Customers can post Jobs and tradies can manage their profiles, quotes and work. You agree the cost of the actual trade work directly with the tradie; TradieArc does not collect Job payments.

Does TradieArc send email/SMS reminders or sync Google Calendar?

Not currently. Check the Job in TradieArc for your appointment and activity. Email, SMS and calendar syncing are planned additions.

Can a customer come back to the same tradie later?

A dedicated repeat-work flow is planned next, so you can start a fresh Job with the same tradie while keeping your previous Job history and private details protected.
